PARA is a top-down, productivity-focused organizational system created by Tiago Forte. It divides all information into four categories:
- Projects — short-term efforts with a defined outcome
- Areas — long-term responsibilities to maintain over time
- Resources — topics of ongoing interest
- Archives — inactive items from the other three categories
