About

Layman Pascal is a Canadian author, theologian, meditation teacher, and podcast host who specializes in integrative metatheory, metamodern spirituality, and developmental nondualism. Some of his signature ideas include the Metaphysics of Adjacency, planetary shamanism, and the coaxial model of integral development. He was born on a remote island in the Pacific Northwest and now lives with his family on the north shore of the world’s largest freshwater lake.

Pascal’s work focuses on the practical dimensions of future-crafting — the clarification of desire, the development of will over longer time scales, and the recursive insight that we must create futures that make us into people who are better at creating futures. He frames the emerging moment not as a crisis to be solved but as a new kind of reality to become indigenous to — holding multiple simultaneous futures with both structure and fluidity.
